Site-based mentoring

The Bigs in our Site-Based Mentoring program help to expand a child’s experiences by spending one-to-one time with them after school. In this program, Littles will already be at the site and volunteers just show up at the designated time! Each program relies on three stakeholders: a site, volunteers, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. We call our mentors “Big Brothers” and “Big Sisters.” These mentors in our Site-Based program are people just like you who volunteer to mentor a child.

By spending one hour a week together, a Big can make a difference in the life of your child.

A Big (a volunteer mentor) would meet with your child, age 6 to 14 years old, once a week on Tuesdays at the Ross Center.

During this time they will do things they enjoy: playing games, activities, and more.

We provide the activities and games; all they have to do is be there!

Now recruiting children ages 6 to 14 years old to commit 1 (one) hour a week for the school year.
